Expanded recall: Various DESIGNME hair products recalled due to improper labelling

This product does not meet the Cosmetic Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the product does not have mandatory hazard labelling. It is missing required hazard symbols, signal words, and safety information. Improper labelling could result in misuse of the product and lead to serious injury. As of August 22, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Labelling and packaging

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled DESIGNME hair products and return them to the retailer for proper relabelling. Please note that, in addition to the requirements of the Cosmetic Regulations the Food and Drugs Act (FDA) prohibits the sale of cosmetics that are either made with hazardous substances, or under unsanitary conditions, to users in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
