Expanded recall: Oster French Door Toaster Countertop Ovens recalled due to burn hazard

The oven’s doors can unexpectedly close, posing a burn hazard to consumers. As of December 4, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 95 reports of the doors unexpectedly closing and resulting in burn injuries and 2 reports of a second-degree burn.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Oster French Door Toaster Countertop Ovens and contact Sunbeam Products Inc. to arrange to obtain a free repair kit, including installation instructions.
