Knog Blinder 900 and 1300 bicycle lights recalled due to fire hazard

Issue
The light’s lithium-ion battery can overheat (thermal runaway) and pose fire and burn and hazards. As of September 25, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycle light, safely dispose of it at a local recycling facility that accepts lithium batteries, and register at knog.com/recall for a free replacement . For more information, consumers can visit Knog’s company website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
