Various Grundens Children’s Rain Jackets with drawstrings recalled due to strangulation hazard

Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged. As of October 1, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

Strangulation hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled rain jackets and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.
