Inventus Power, the supplier for SimplyGo Mini Standard Battery Kit, reported an issue that may lead to battery fault below the specified discharge over temperature protection threshold (85°c) on the Texas Instruments (TI) BQ8050 chip on the battery PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) when the chip surface temperature reaches 50°c or higher, effectively reducing the maximum operating temperature for the chip from 85°c to 50°c.
