Q’Straint QRT-DELUXE and Q’Straint QRT-MAX retractors recalled due to injury hazard

A retractor may not lock properly. An unlocked retractor will not properly secure a wheelchair and place the passenger at a risk of serious injury or death during normal vehicle travel, emergency maneuvers, or a crash. As of November 10, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Q’Straint QRT-DELUXE and Q’Straint QRT-MAX retractors and contact the Q’Straint Customer Service Team to arrange for a free replacement.
