Various Mercury Adhesives cyanoacrylate adhesives recalled due to improper labelling and lack of child-resistant packaging

Issue
The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging and labelling requirements for quick skin-bonding adhesives of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act . This type of glue is capable of bonding skin instantly. The lack of appropriate labelling and child-resistant packaging could result in unintended exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury. As of November 20, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Mercury Adhesives for further information. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
