Muc-Off, Disc Brake Cleaner recalled due to excessively high flammability

Health Canada's sampling and assessment program has determined that this product does not meet the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act . Specifically, testing showed that the product was "very flammable". The manufacture, import, advertisement or sale of a highly flammable product is prohibited under the CCCR, 2001. Additionally, the product's label doesn't display the required toxicity labelling. The highly flammable nature of the product could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness or injury. As of January 14, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to where it was purchased for a refund.
