Wagner 900 Series Power Steamers recalled due to burn hazard

Issue
The attached hose can get hot, and the nozzle may expel hot water during use and after the trigger is engaged, posing a burn hazard. As of March 13, 2026, the company has received 6 reports of incidents involving the hose getting too hot or the nozzle expelling hot water in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 156 reports of incidents involving the hose getting too hot or the nozzle expelling hot water, including 50 reported burn injuries to arms, hands, feet, and face, some of which resulted in first- or second-degree burns.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled steamers and contact Wagner for a free repair kit consisting of a hose sleeve, nozzle cover, and funnel. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Wagner Spray Tech Corporation. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
