During its operation, the oven may exhibit delayed ignition, posing a burn hazard. As of April 10, 2026, the company has received 2 reports of delayed ignition and 1 report of burn injury in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 16 reports of delayed ignition and no reports of injury.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled oven until it has been inspected and serviced. Consumers may continue to use the stovetop. For more information, consumers can contact Fisher & Paykel by telephone at 1-866-936-7872, Option 2, during normal business hours Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm EST, by email at rbservicecanada@fisherpaykel.com with the Title “Ignitor Inspection”, or visit the company website . Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Fisher & Paykel. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
