The pin securing the metal D-ring of the harnesses can release and allow the attachment point to open, posing a fall hazard that could result in serious injury or death. As of April 21, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, or in the United States.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Petzl America, Inc. for a free replacement kit with installation instructions.
