Hazard description
The lithium-ion battery cell in the portable wireless charger may overheat and swell, posing a fire hazard.As of ​June 23, 2026​, the company has received no reported incident and no reports of injury in Canada. In the United States, the company has received one report of two swollen batteries and no reports of injuries.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and visit the Spector and Co. website to register for a refund and receive disposal instructions. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Spector and Co. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
