Hazard description
Shimadzu Corporation has identified a potential issue in the X-ray High Voltage Generator. Contacts of the electromagnetic contactors inside the generator may remain welded, allowing the electricity to flow even if the system was tuned off. This can cause overheating of the circuit, damage to surrounding parts and potentially produce smoke.
