Hazard description
Small metal wire bristles, from certain Cuisinart-branded metal wire bristle grill brushes, can detach from the brushes and stick to the grill or food, posing an ingestion hazard and risk of serious internal injuries that could require surgery. As of August 26, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Crate & Barrel Canada for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact Crate and Barrel Canada by telephone at 800-451-8217, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CDT, Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CDT Saturday and Sunday or by visiting the company's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
