Hazard description
On certain Volvo 242, 244 and 245, the four bolts securing the ball joint may loosen resulting in a noticeable suspension noise which if left uncorrected may result in front suspension collapse. Also, the fastenres securing the steering rack assembly to the sub-frame may loosen and may lead to loss of steering control.
