Hazard description
On certain trucks, a design deficiency may exist in the barrel section of the hub between the inner and outer bearings which may crack and cause the hub to fail. Failure can lead to wheel assembly separation from the vehicle or a blown tire. There is the potential for loss of vehicle control and possible vehicle crash with little warning to the operator.
