1975 Volvo 200 Series Recall

On certain Volvo 242, 244 and 245, the throttle cable sleeve could break allowing the buffer spring to expand thereby opening the throttle and increasing engine speed. Also, the throttle cable could accidently become frayed causing the throttle cable to stick at any position. Both conditions could result in the throttle becoming stuck in the fully open position.
