1984–1985 Audi 5000 Recall

On Audi 5000 and 5000 turbo with automatic transmissions, the idle control unit may experience isolated malfunctions of internal electronic components which could cause the idle stabilizer valve to become activated outside its normal operating range. This could cause the rpm to become erratic resulting in possible control problems. Correction: Idle control units will be replaced on all affected vehicles.
