Hazard description
On certain 318I and 318IS vehicles equipped with an airbag, the knee bolster may interfere with the lower steering column trim cover during a frontal impact. This may prevent the steering colomn from moving foward as designed, thus increasing the risk of driver injury. Correction: The knee bolster will be modified.
