Hazard description
On certain 740IA and 740ILA vehicles, the inner throttle cable could break due to a smaller than specification bend in the cable tube. If this were to occur, throttle control would be lost and the engine would return to or remain at idle. Correction: Throttle cable will be replaced with one meeting BMW specifications.
