1999 Chevrolet Tracker Recall

On certain vehicles, the coupling that connects the steering column shaft to the intermediate shaft may be cracked. A cracked coupling could break and allow the steering shafts to separate, resulting in loss of steering control. If this were to occur while the vehicle was in motion, a crash could occur without prior warning. Correction: Steering shaft coupling will be replaced.
