Hazard description
Certain full size pickups equipped with the Cummins Encore 24 valve diesel engine do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 1103 - Exhaust Emissions. The fuel management system which advances fuel injector timing for better steady highway fuel economy, also increases the NOx emissions. Correction: Engine controller software will be reprogrammed.
