1998 Mack Dm Recall

On certain vehicles, an improperly machined steering axle wheel hub inner wheel bearing cone can result in an improper fit onto the steering axle spindle assembly, which can eventually cause spindle failure. If the spindle fails there could be a loss of driver control and a crash without prior warning. Correction: Inner wheel bearing cones and cups will be replaced on affected vehicles.
