Issue
Hazard description
On certain fifth wheel trailers, the hitch connection frame mounts (pin boxes) can rotate fore and aft as the vehicle is pulled on roads and highways due to insufficient support from the front "C" channels to which the pin box is attached by welds. This will lead to eventual destruction of the pin box support, with excessive rotation affecting driveability of the towing vehicle. Correction: A steel T-plate will be added on the back of the "C" channel cross member prevent fore and aft movement and additional exterior stabilizer bars will be added to prevent the pin box from excessive up and down movements.
