Hazard description
On certain CL500, S430W and S500V vehicles, due an internal defect in circuitry cased during the climate control system blower motor regulator manufacturing process, a capacitor within the regulator may fail resulting in overheating of the regulator or other nearby components or wiring. This could result in an under-dash fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect the blower motor regulator of the climate control system and replace it if necessary.
