Hazard description
On certain trailers, the optional Bustin pull-out platform may fail due to fatigue stress combined with design deficiency. The .25" thick by 1.25" wide bar which supports the ladder can break at the weld point to the ladder rails. When the bar breaks, the steps flip down which can cause a fall or lead to injury. Correction: Bustin Industrial Products will contact owners directly. Platfroms will either be replaced or a retrofit kit will be installed. Note: The company is out of business.
