Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the side fairing hinge bar and mounts may detach from the fuel tank straps. The hinge bar has brackets that due to thickness may crack causing the detachment. Once detached the hinge bar can rotate and separate from the fairing, allowing the hinge bar assembly to fall off the vehicle. Correction: A nutplate doubler plate will be added behind the skirt bracket to eliminate the cracking of the bracket. If the bracket is cracked, the fuel tank strap will be replaced with a new strap and bracket assembly.
