1992–2000 Bustin Pull-Out Platform Recall

On certain vehicles, the pull-out platform may fail due to fatigue stress combined with design deficiency. The .25" thick by 1.25" wide bar which supports the ladder can break at the weld point to the ladder rails. When the bar breaks, the steps flip down which can cause a fall or lead to injury. Correction: Platforms will be inspected and either replaced or retrofitted with a ladder reinforcement kit.
