2000 Freightliner Business Class Recall

Hazard description

On certain trucks equipped with Accuride 22.5 x 8.25 15 degree Tubeless One-Piece Demountable Rim, a fatigue crack could develop on the mounting ring butt-weld under severe loading and/or environmental conditions. This crack could progress through the mounting ring and affect the attachment of the demountable rim to the spoke wheel. Correction: Affected rims will be replaced by Accuride Corporation.
