1997 Dodge Dakota Recall

On certain vehicles with 131" wheel base, inadequate clearance between the fuel line and the cab underbody could eventually wear a hole in the fuel line resulting in loss of fuel. Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could ignite and result in a vehicle fire. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected for proper fuel line clearance. Fuel lines with inadequate clearance will be replaced with a redesigned fuel line.
