2000 Jayco Kiwi Travel Trailer Recall

On certain travel trailers, the design incorporates all of the liquid storage tanks behind the axle, so that when the tanks are full and other materials are loaded in a behind the axle location, hitch weight is reduced. This would make the trailer difficult to tow at speeds in excess of 80 kph with the potential for a vehicle crash. Correction: Additional steel in the form of a ball will be inserted into the hitch and welded into place, increasing the hitch weight.
