On certain vehicles, the double check valve incorporated into the Manifold Dash Valve becomes brittle over time and cracks. This crack does not permit the double check valve from protecting either the primary or secondary system pressures in the event of a single point failure of one of the two circuits. This can result in loss of all service braking when there is another failure in the system. Correction: Brake valve will be removed and replaced. Update: no Canadian vehicles affected.
