On certain child seats, two alignment posts in the base can become bent. If the posts are bent, owners may have difficulty installing the carrier onto the base. Bent posts could also interfere with proper latching of the carrier to the base preventing the child from being properly restrained in the event of a crash. Correction: Owners will be provided with metal clips which can be installed over the plastic posts.
