Hazard description
Certain vehicles were equipped with an incorrect SAM (Signal Acquisition and Activation Module) electronic control unit that does not cause the front side marker lights to illuminate as soon as the master lighting switch is moved to the headlamps "ON" position. Correction: Headlamp function will be checked and, the incorrect SAM unit will be replaced.
