Hazard description
On certain tires installed on 2000 GMC Yukon XL and as optional equipment on 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 series, a lack of adhesion between the wire and skim compound in the number 1 steel belt can result in tread belt separation. This can cause tire failure and possible loss of vehicle control. Correction: Tires will be replaced.
