Hazard description
On certain trucks a capacitor in the power line carrier (PLC) filter can ignite when subject to reverse polarity electrical spikes. The PLC filter is located inside the left side frame rail just forward of the back of the cab/sleeper in close proximity to electrical and brake lines. Correction: Dealers will disconnect and secure the PLC filter ground wire.
