1998–2000 Brink Tow Hitch Recall

A defect exits in the Brink Sverige AB Generation 3.0 Detachable Tow Hitch, manufactured in Sweden for use on Volvo cars. There is a risk that the locking mechanism in the tow bar, that prevents the detachable tow hook from separating from the fixed vehicle installation, may have reduced function. Correction: Dealers will replaced the hitch.
