Hazard description
Certain vehicles were equipped with an improper power steering high pressure hose between the power steering pump and the steering gear. The hose installed was rated to have a working pressure of 500 PSI instead of the specified 2000 PSI. The hose could develop a leak or burst while in service. If this were to happen, the power assist feature of the steering system would be lost but the actual steering control would still be maintained. Correction: The power steering high pressure hose will be replaced with the proper one.
