1994–1995 Nissan Altima Recall

Nissan has initiated the following action on certain Altima's. The passenger side air bag will be replaced with a depowered one in order to reduce the risk of facial and eye injuries allegedly caused by the airbag being too powerful while inflating. This action is deemed a safety improvement campaign and is not being conducted under the safety act. Correction: Dealer will install a new depowered passenger side airbag free of charge.
