Certain load range D tires installed as original equipment on 2000-2003 Ford Excursion vehicles may experience rapid air loss, especially if they have been operated below recommended inflation pressures and above recommended loads, or at excessive speeds. Such an air loss can lead to a loss of control and a possible crash. Correction: Ford dealers and Firestone retailers will replace these LT265/75R16 load range D tires with LT265/75R16 load range E tires at no charge until September 30, 2004. This action is deemed a Customer Satisfaction Campaign and is not conducted under the safety act.
