On certain trailers equipped with a Sealco 110800 Spring Brake Control Valve manufactured from June 1, 2003 to November 17, 2003, the brass control port cap assembly in the brake valve's control port may contain a defective rubber band check valve. The check valve may develop a hole allowing air to escape back out the control line exhausting at either the foot valve in the tractor or any in-line quick release valve. Correction: Dealer will replace the brass control port cap assembly.
