2003–2004 Jayco Talon Fifth Wheel Trailer Recall

On certain trailers, the 1-inch by 1-inch steel angle, located on the front and rear axle plate which helps eliminate side to side movement of the axle plate, may not have been welded properly or may have been welded in an improper location. The steel angle may come loose from either side of the axle plate and drag, or separate completely from the vehicle causing the risk of a crash or signs of premature tire wear. Correction: Dealer will weld a 3-inch structural c-channel to reinforce the axle plates.
