Hazard description
Certain trailer mounted, articulating boom supported, aerial work platforms are experiencing structural fatigue near the mounting of the outrigger limit switch, due to vibrations during road travel. As a result, the structural integrity of the chassis may be compromised which, in an extreme condition, could cause the trailer to become unstable during transport, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Genie will provide a reinforcement kit and installation instructions to owners of affected machines.
