Hazard description
On certain vehicles, the front, non-drive axle, cotter keys and spindle nut retainers were not installed. The cotter keys and spindle nut retainers aid in wheel retention. If not installed, a front wheel could separate from the vehicle, which may result in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if missing, install new retainers and cotter keys.
