Hazard description
Certain motorhomes equipped with the optional spare tire carrier (so called "Continental Kit") could experience a failure of the spare tire carrier locking bracket. If the bracket breaks, continuous vibration may cause the carrier assembly to slowly slide out of the trailer hitch crosstube and fall on the road, which could cause a crash. Excessive movement/vibration of the spare tire can alert some driver's that something is wrong. Correction: Dealers will weld the carrier to the trailer hitch crosstube.
