Hazard description
Certain snowmobiles do not comply with the noise emission requirements of CMVSS 1201. Under acceleration or when traveling at a constant rate of speed, the vehicle is too loud. Correction: Dealers will install an update kit, at owners expense, to reduce the amount of noise emitted while in operation.
