2004 Ski-Doo Elite Recall

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, section 5. (1) - Vehicle and Equipment Standards. The National Safety Mark (NSM) and Statement of Compliance Label (SOC) were affixed to the Elite although it does not meet the weight requirements of a snowmobile, and therefore cannot be classified as such. Correction: An updated operator's guide will be sent to owners, updated labels will be applied to the vehicle to cover any label which makes mention of the word snowmobile, and a label will be applied over the NSM and SOC labels.
