2003–2005 E-One Fire Truck Recall

On certain fire trucks, the battery to starter cable rubs against the hex-head plug on the fuel filter causing insulation damage and unintentional grounding. If not detected and repaired, this could cause a fire in the engine compartment. Correction: Dealers will replace the hex-head plug on the fuel filter with a 3/8" allen-head plug. This will increase the clearance between the cable and the fuel filter plug.
