2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide (Flhxi) Recall

Certain motorcycles were assembled with mirrors that were improperly located on the inner fairing. In this condition, it is not possible to adjust the mirrors properly, thereby not allowing the rider to have the appropriate rearward field of vision. Correction: There are three possible remedies: 1) Reposition the mirrors by drilling another hole and covering the original hole with a decal; 2) Install different mirrors (with larger base); 3) Replace the inner fairing with a new fairing that has the mirror locating holes drilled in the proper position.
