Hazard description
On certain motorcycles, the throttle cables could come in contact with the tunnel portion of the fuel tank. In this condition, the cables could eventually wear through the tank, causing a fuel leak. A fuel leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect the cables and tank, reposition the cables and, if necessary, repair or replace the tank and/or cables.
